Volt is immediately hiring a Line Lead in Winston Salem, North
Carolina.
As a Line Lead you will:
Perform basic line leader duties as outlined in the Line Leader job
description.
Assume leadership role with other line leaders on assigned
shift.
Direct line leaders and assist them with problem solving, trouble
shooting, achieving production goals, line efficiencies and quality
as specified in the work order.
Understand and utilize production run equations including cycle
time, flow time and pace conveyor calculations.
Support Supervisor in achieving plant goals as well as divisional
and company goals.
Oversee the shift occasionally in Supervisor's absence assuming
other salaried presence.
Make scheduling decisions with lines and crews on a daily
basis.
Maintain housekeeping standards.
Assist with training of new line leaders and retraining of existing
line leaders as needed.
Liaison with other departments such as quality assurance,
warehouse, maintenance, and project coordination to ensure ongoing
team effort and problem resolution.
Responsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and
area.
Overtime is required.
This is a full-time, Temp to Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Line lead experience
High School diploma or GED
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
