TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27103 Pay Information $1,894 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Stepdown - Cardiac Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Guaranteed Hours: Contact for details Experience: Minimum 2 years; unit accepts first-time travelers with required experience License: NC or Compact license required at time of start Certifications: ACLS, BCLS Must-Have: - Skills in Telemetry, Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias - Self-rating of at least 2-3 in Arterial Line Management - Self-rating of at least 3 in both Titratable Cardiac & Vasoactive Drips Job Description: - Provide care for post-operative cardiothoracic surgery and structural heart patients. - Manage patients who have undergone open heart surgery, thoracotomies, TAVR, VATS, and esophagogastrostomies. - Maintain and manage a-lines, titratable drips, BIPAP, trachs, heated high flow oxygen, epidurals, PCAs, temporary epicardial pacemakers, Blake drains, and chest tubes. - Deliver exceptional patient care reflected in high patient satisfaction scores. - Exhibit strong critical thinking skills and cardiac knowledge for handling patients in a fast-paced environment. - Work with bedside monitors, PYXSIS, Dimensions/Epic, and SBAR systems. - Required to float to units within the scope as needed. - Must work 4-5 weekend shifts every 6 weeks. - Must wear navy or white scrubs. 27061717EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
