Job Description:

A Clinical Psychologist in an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) company plays a pivotal role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental conditions. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance clients' social, communication, and adaptive skills. Key Responsibilities: Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify behavioral, emotional, and cognitive issues in clients. Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, focusing on improving social, communication, and adaptive behaviors. Therapy Sessions: Provide one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques to address identified issues and promote skill development. Collaboration: Work closely with other professionals, such as behavior analysts, speech therapists, and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to client care. Family Support: Educate and support families in understanding and managing their child's condition, offering guidance on implementing therapeutic strategies at home. Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs. Qualifications: Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution. Active state licensure as a psychologist in (North Carolina) Experience working with individuals with ASD and related developmental disorders. Strong understanding of ABA principles and therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. This role is essential in providing comprehensive psychological services within an ABA framework, ensuring that clients receive the support and interventions necessary for their development and well-being.
