Our client, a custom manufacturer in the Yadkinville, NC area, is seeking an Accounting Associate to join their team.

If you have at least 2 years of accounting/invoicing experience , preferably in manufacturing, this is an opportunity you need to explore! Experience pricing repairs and utilizing Sage 50 or Quickbooks preferred but not required.

            • Manage receivable process. Includes issuing invoices in Sage 50 for multiple plant locations and sending the invoices to customers through various delivery systems.
              • Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, and posting of payments in Sage 50.
                • Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared
                  • Identify discrepancies in received payments and address any issues with vendors regarding incorrectly paid invoices.
                    • Follow up on overdue invoices and manage collections to ensure timely payment
                      • Track and record payments received and reconcile these with outstanding invoices.
                        • Assist as needed with review and processing of bills and invoices from suppliers and service providers.
                          • Assist as needed with accounts payable process. Includes vouchering invoices in Sage 50 for multiple plant locations a needed.
                            • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and manage expense documentation
                              • Support other accounting and finance team members, inventory management, and cost accounting
                                • Assist with month-end close process
